Private Credit Rating: A second opinion offering transparency and visibility

The private Credit Rating (CR) provides an independent opinion on the creditworthiness of a financial institution, based on a thorough analysis of the entity’s risk profile and its capacity to repay financial obligations.

The CR primarily relies on data and information provided directly by the rated entity. This information, subject to analytical crosschecks and verifications, represents a highly reliable data source.

The CR is based on the issuer’s financial strength rating, achieved through a quantitative and qualitative analysis of the entity’s performance and risk profile. MFR CR’s Credit Rating evaluates the following six areas:

  • External Context
  • ESG and Market Positioning
  • Systems and Controls
  • Quality of Assets
  • Capital Adequacy and Financial Risks
  • Earnings and Operational Results
