MFR takes part in the EACRA Annual Meeting in Paris
MFR Credit Ratings (MFR CR) participated in the Annual Meeting of the European Association of Credit Rating Agencies (EACRA), held in Paris. The gathering brought together rating agencies, regulators, issuers and academics to strengthen regulatory dialogue between EACRA members and EU institutions, and to broaden that conversation across the wider credit ratings community.
The program featured direct exchanges with supervisory authorities, including the Head of SMCRA Supervision at the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA), and representatives of the European Banking Authority (EBA), who addressed the priorities and evolving framework shaping the sector. The issuer perspective was also represented by market players, who shared how corporates view rating agencies.
As an associate member of EACRA, MFR CR also took part in the General Assembly and in the election of the Association’s new Board of Directors, marking a moment of renewal for the organization and its governance.
For MFR CR, this engagement is a natural extension of its mission. As a global rating agency specialized in sustainable and inclusive finance, MFR CR believes that credit ratings should reflect both financial soundness and real impact. Forums such as EACRA help ensure that this perspective remains present in industry discussions and continues to grow in alignment with the sector’s objectives.
MFR CR thanks EACRA and its members for a valuable exchange and looks forward to contributing to the next chapter of the Association.
